%X There are several orbiting satellites with resolutions spectral, spatial, temporal and radiometric different. The amount of information generated by these sensors create a diverse and favorable environment for the development of various applications in remote sensing. Thus arises the need for techniques to synthesize and combine information in order to reduce the amount of data and produce better quality images. Within this context, the image fusion techniques have been used to combine information from different sources and produce synthetic images that incorporate the best features of the images. The fusion of images to match the colors of the multispectral images of low spatial resolution with the details of a panchromatic band which has better spatial resolution. Thus, the objective of this study is to evaluate different fusion techniques (Pan Sharpening, PC Spectral Sharpening and Gram-Schmidt) on satellite images WorldView-2 in municipality of São Paulo, Brazil. The best performance was obtained by the Pan Sharpening technique.
